FirmChecker is pleased to announce the best medium-small professional services firms for 2017. It was a highly competitive field. We received over 6,000 individual ratings and reviews of well over 160 applicant firms.
Winners were chosen through a rigorous analysis of real clients’ opinions. A weighted average of performance ratings from both business and private clients revealed which firms excelled in client satisfaction. Both technological and human validation mechanisms were used to prevent gaming of the survey. The result was a sample of excellent quality.

In terms of business size, structure and method of service delivery– there appears to be no silver bullet for client satisfaction. The winners list (below) includes regional, inner-suburban and CBD firms, with a range of client types and service offerings. Firms with traditional and innovative business models both feature.
Winners & Runners-up were consistently able to communicate with their clients well. Their clients had confidence that their work would be done on-budget and on-time, in a manner that added value to their business or private matters. Conversely, poor expectation management was the dominant theme in negative ratings.
